The Story of Joy Vox Community Choir
Our Journey
Joy Vox Community Choir's first rehearsal was in September 2001 in the basement studio of Stepping Stone Music Co. Eight fabulous singers got together under the direction of Liisa Nessim and the group grew from there. Now we are 25 to 35 singers strong and celebrating our 20th season! We now rehearse at Calvin Presbyterian Church on Monday evenings and continue to grow! As of 2022 we have created the Joy Vox Children's Choir and the Fraser Valley Youth Choir all under the Joy Vox Family of Choirs. We look forwards to a bright future full of singing!
A Journey into the Past
Joy Vox was established in 2001 as a small chorus. Since then, they have been growing as more community members discover the joy of singing. Please enjoy this trip down memory lane.
